Years of Collective Experience

I have known Andrew for over 20 years initially when I was HR Director and he was managing our Group Pension Scheme and then subsequently when I left the company, and he became my IFA. He was highly respected and trusted by colleagues and management alike operating both efficiently and acting with integrity.

On a personal level having worked with a number of IFAs over time the primary difference and value that Andrew provides is that he always tailors his advice based on a holistic approach in that he works hard to ascertain your personal life goals and aspirations first before making recommendations. In that sense he takes a long-term perspective of clients’ needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What experience do you have?

Andrew started his career in 1984 working at National Employers Life (now UNUM) then later at Standard Life but became an Independent Financial Adviser in 1995. Since that time he has helped clients plan their financial futures by building, managing and protecting their financial assets. Stacey has over 25 years of client relationship experience and has worked with Andrew since 2014. Over that time Stacey has got to know and built a very strong relationship with many clients.

How long have you worked as an adviser?

Since January 1995

What services do you provide?

We provide a comprehensive financial planning service, focussing on building, managing, protecting assets to ensure that you choose to enjoy your lifestyle rather than worrying about money.

How do you charge for your services?

Typically, but not exclusively we charge based on the amount of money that we manage. Usually we charge 1% of your initial investments and an ongoing fee of 1% for providing ongoing services, including annual reviews and meetings. Where funds exceed certain levels we discount or cap our costs.

Do I have to pay for an initial meeting with an adviser?

Our initial meeting is always without cost or any form of obligation. This is your opportunity to ask as many questions as you wish and for us to ensure that we understand how we are to help you. This meeting is normally held face to face either at our offices or at your preferred location (home) at a mutually convenient time.

How much does financial advice cost?

Financial advice costs are normally based on the amount of money invested, so for example if you invested £250,000, the initial charge would be 1% or £2500 plus 1% ongoing for our ongoing services, which in this case would be £2500 annually, assuming £250,000 invested.

Can you help with estate planning?

Yes we can, we would normally recommend that a starting point would be to ensure that wills are in place and up to date. If you haven’t got your wills set up or they need revisiting we can recommend suitably qualified experts to help with this.

Do you provide an online portal or financial planning tools?

Yes, all our clients have access to a wealth platform which enables up to date valuations, on a daily basis if required. We can help you access these and there is a link on this website to direct you to the correct page.

What happens if I want to leave or end the relationship?

Our terms do not “tie” you into any contractual obligations. If you decide that you no longer require our services you are free to step away.
